Is LUSTR a full replacement for Eye Candy 7?
LUSTR is designed for the chrome, bevel and reflective-lettering workflow. It does not reproduce every Eye Candy filter, but it covers the metallic text use case directly in a browser.
Do I need Photoshop?
No. LUSTR is a standalone web tool and does not need Photoshop, Illustrator or plugin installation.
Can I export a transparent PNG?
Yes. Select Transparent in the export background menu and save the result as a PNG.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The core editor and 1200 × 750 PNG export are free. Pro adds higher resolution and advanced options.
